About the role

Build tools and products that enhance data science productivity and enable self-serve analytics for blockchain data
Design data models to support data scientists leveraging blockchain data
Build tooling and pipelines to ingest blockchain data from APIs, files, and databases into clean, useful formats
Implement data quality measurement and enforcement to ensure reliability and completeness
Develop heuristics and models applying blockchain knowledge to answer on-chain questions
Collaborate with data engineers, data science, data platform, machine learning, and analytics teams to align on priorities and deliverables
Deliver tailored self-serve analytics products to make blockchain data approachable for stakeholders

Blockchain data experience: knowledge of blocks, transactions, token transfers, contract calls, account and UTXO models, labeling; familiarity with tools like Dune and Arkham
Proficient in Python (must); Go is a plus
Expert SQL experience for querying, transformation, and performance optimization
Experience with data compute frameworks such as Spark, Flink, Beam (a plus)
Experience designing, building, and optimizing ETL/ELT data pipelines (batch and streaming)
Experience building, deploying, and optimizing DAGs in Apache Airflow or similar orchestration tools
Experience with data visualization tools (Superset, Hex, Looker) or Python visualization libraries (Matplotlib, Seaborn, Plotly)
Understanding of data modeling best practices (star schemas, snowflake schemas, normalization); experience modeling blockchain or financial data is a plus
Collaboration and communication skills; strong documentation for pipeline design and data flow diagrams
Fundamental DevOps practices: unit testing, CI/CD, git repository management, Docker, Kubernetes
Prompt engineering for LLMs; experience with embeddings and vector search (a plus)
