About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Manage accounting operations for CBAM including monthly close and account reconciliations
Liaise with the fund controller to review and record management fees from funds
Lead compliance activities as necessary
Prepare monthly and quarterly financial results presentations
Analyze data against business drivers to identify trends / issues
Prepare the annual US GAAP financial statements for CBAM
Partner with other members of the accounting team to implement new accounting standards
Ensure compliance with internal controls
Streamline, automate, maintain & improve processes and systems
Support management in completing special projects
Oversee vendor billing relationships
Liaise with Compliance and Regulatory teams for filings

Requirements

What you’ll need

5–7 years of public accounting and/or industry experience
Previous people management experience
Advanced knowledge of US GAAP and Sarbanes-Oxley
Advanced knowledge of reporting and compliance requirements for an SEC registered investment advisor
Experience in fund accounting
Experience in serving as a trusted finance
Ability to work cross-functionally
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
Exceptional organizational skills
A desire to work in a fast growing, exciting and agile business.
