Own end-to-end delivery of complex, cross-functional programs, from problem definition through launch and post-launch follow-up.
Translate product and business goals into executable program plans, with clear scope, milestones, dependencies, and success metrics.
Run the operating cadence for your programs (kickoffs, status reviews, dashboards, and risk tracking) to keep teams aligned and accountable.
Proactively identify risks and cross-team dependencies, drive mitigations, and escalate crisply when leadership decisions are needed.
Partner with Product, Engineering, Design, Data, and cross-functional teams (e.g., Compliance, Legal, CX, Finance) to make informed trade-offs.
Develop a strong understanding of the systems and services in your area and ensure technical decisions support reliability, scalability, and long-term maintainability.

Requirements

7+ years of experience as a Technical Program Manager, Engineering leader, or similar role driving large technical programs in a high-growth or high-scale consumer technology company.
Proven success leading cross-functional initiatives with significant ambiguity, tight timelines, and external or regulatory constraints.
Strong technical fluency in modern distributed systems; comfortable engaging with Staff+ engineers on architecture, design trade-offs, and sequencing.
Demonstrated ability to connect strategy to execution and independently drive programs from early framing through launch.
Experience defining program-level KPIs and using dashboards and experiments to guide decisions.
Strong stakeholder management skills and the ability to build trusted partnerships across Product, Engineering, and business teams.
High ownership, bias for action, and comfort operating in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
Genuine interest in crypto, financial markets, and Coinbase’s mission.
Demonstrates the ability to responsibly use generative AI tools and copilots (e.g., LibreChat, Gemini, Glean) in daily workflows, continuously learn as tools evolve, and apply human-in-the-loop practices to deliver business-ready outputs and drive measurable improvements in efficiency, cost, and quality.
Experience in trading, brokerage, payments, or other high-throughput fintech products.
Experience in crypto, web3, or defi.
