About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Support our national accounting team in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with HGB (German GAAP) and IFRS
Work closely with our national teams and assist with accounting-related inquiries
Contribute to the further development of our finance processes with a focus on efficiency, quality, and automation
Prepare and analyze financial data and support the production of meaningful financial reports for internal and external stakeholders
Support internal and external audits, including preparation of relevant documentation and assistance in communications with auditors
Gain exposure to topics such as group consolidation and intercompany reconciliations and continuously develop your technical expertise

Requirements

What you’ll need

Completed degree or a comparable commercial qualification with a focus on business/finance/accounting
At least 2 years of professional experience in accounting, ideally in financial statement preparation under HGB
Good knowledge of accounting and confident use of financial systems (e.g., DATEV or SAP)
Analytical mindset and a structured, careful, and independent way of working
Team-oriented personality with strong communication skills and enjoyment of collaboration across different departments
Very good German skills and good English skills, both written and spoken
