About the role

  • Preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements in accordance with HGB (German Commercial Code) and IFRS
  • Support teams in our group entities with accounting matters, including the implementation and application of IFRS and ensuring compliance with policies
  • Participate in the development and implementation of process improvements to increase the efficiency and accuracy of financial data capture
  • Actively contribute to the preparation of financial reports by collecting and aggregating financial data
  • Support entities during internal and external audits by preparing documentation, communicating with auditors and implementing audit recommendations

Requirements

  • Degree in business, finance or a related field
  • Several years of professional experience in accounting and consolidated financial reporting, ideally in an international environment
  • Experience in group consolidation and intercompany reconciliation
  • Good knowledge of HGB and IFRS and practical experience applying these standards
  • Analytical, conceptual and holistic thinking skills
  • Very good written and spoken German and English skills
