About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Capture, analyze and structure customers' existing business processes
Identify weaknesses, dependencies and optimization potential
Model processes in structured notations such as BPMN
Translate business requirements into structured specifications and decision documents
Collaborate with project managers, architects and development teams
Consider IT systems, data flows and technical constraints
Translate business problems and requirements into technical solution concepts
Evaluate solution options and target architectures
Plan, run and follow up customer workshops remotely and on-site
Facilitate discussions with diverse stakeholders
Document outcomes, decisions and open issues
Build trusted working relationships with clients and understand their challenges
Prepare complex content for presentations, decision papers and whitepapers
Create clear documentation for management and business units
Use AI tools in daily work for analysis, structuring and documentation, and integrate them into projects

Requirements

What you’ll need

Several years of experience in consulting or a consulting-adjacent role
Proven experience in process capture and structuring
Work experience in IT environments with an understanding of technical contexts
Proficiency in structured notations, e.g., BPMN
Practical hands-on use of AI tools in daily work
Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
Ability to identify process optimizations and efficiency improvements
Proactive approach, strong execution skills, and an independent, structured working style
Excellent communication skills in German and English
Ability to present complex technical and business issues clearly for management and client audiences
Completed degree, e.g., Business Administration or Business Informatics, or a qualification with practical experience
Willingness to travel for occasional business trips within the DACH region
Ideally willing to come to the office in Berlin or Kamp-Lintfort twice a week
Working hours: 32 to 40 hours per week
