About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Analysis, structuring and process capture.
Capturing, analyzing and structuring existing business processes at the client.
Identifying weaknesses, dependencies and optimization potential.
Modeling processes using structured notations (e.g., BPMN or comparable methods).
Translating business requirements into clearly structured requirements and decision materials.
Consulting in IT-related environments.
Close collaboration with project managers, architects and development teams.
Understanding of IT systems, data flows and technical constraints.
Ability to translate business problems and requirements into technically oriented solution concepts.
Active support in evaluating solution options and target architectures.
Planning, conducting and following up on client workshops (remote and on-site).
Structured moderation of discussions with diverse stakeholders.
Documentation of results, decisions and open issues.
Building and developing a trusting working relationship with the client and a genuine interest in their challenges.
Structuring complex content into presentations, decision documents and whitepapers.
Creating clear, understandable and consistent documents for management and business units.
Confident use of visual and textual presentation formats.
High quality standards for structure, traceability and clarity.
Active use of AI tools in daily work (e.g., for analysis, structuring, documentation).
Interest in seeing AI as an opportunity and integrating it sensibly into projects and ways of working.
Openness to trying and further developing new methods and tools.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Several years of experience in consulting or a consulting-related role.
Proven experience in process capture and structuring.
Work experience in IT environments with an understanding of technical contexts.
Proficiency in structured representations (e.g., BPMN).
Practical, hands-on use of AI tools in daily work.
Curiosity and client focus with a genuine interest in their problems and in developing appropriate solutions.
Strong analytical thinking and the ability to solve complex problems as well as identify process optimizations and efficiency gains.
Initiative, implementation strength and an independent, structured way of working.
Excellent communication skills in German and English.
A successfully completed degree, e.g., in Business Administration or Business Informatics, or a qualification with practical experience.
Willingness to travel: occasional business trips within the DACH region (by agreement with the client).
