About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Research and define how to implement client requirements and ideas best
- Engage directly with client architects and end-users through design calls and syncs to gather requirements, clarify edge cases, and shape the future of the testing tool
- Develop and maintain a Python-based validation framework designed to test low-level SDK APIs
- Use modern AI coding tools (LLMs, Copilot, Codex, etc.) as your primary workflow to rapidly generate, refactor, and expand test scripts
Requirements
What you’ll need- Practical experience in Python development or scripting for test automation
- Hands-on experience working with physical hardware, router platforms, CLIs, and network interfaces
- Strong understanding of L2/L3 networking concepts, IP routing, and common protocols (e.g., VLANs, BGP, OSPF)
- Active daily use of AI tools (Cursor, Copilot, LLMs) to write, debug, and deliver code fast
- Clear written and spoken English for direct calls with client architects and end-users. (B2 level at minimum, but preferably C1 or C2)
