About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Design, build, optimize, and maintain highly reliable CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions across various banking departments and application types.
Act as the primary owner and administrator of the GitHub platform, ensuring governance, security, and operational best practices organization-wide.
Build and standardize specialized pipelines tailored for .NET applications, streamlining the deployment process.
Provision, maintain, and improve cloud infrastructure using modern IaC practices to automate banking workloads.
Take the reins of the current CI/CD infrastructure, bringing order to disparate pipeline types and acting as a mentor/guide for junior team members.

Requirements

What you’ll need

5+ years of professional experience in DevOps, Release Engineering, or Cloud Infrastructure Architecture.
Exceptional hands-on experience creating, managing, and troubleshooting complex CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions.
Proven experience in GitHub platform administration (managing permissions, security policies, runners, and enterprise features).
Strong, practical experience building pipelines specifically for .NET applications.
Solid experience working with cloud providers, with a strong preference for Azure (or alternatively AWS).
Proven experience provisioning and managing infrastructure using Terraform, CloudFormation, or similar tools.
Practical, hands-on experience working with Docker and Kubernetes in production environments.
Expected to have GitHub Foundations and GitHub DevOps Pipelines certifications.
