About the role

  • Design and develop high-performance, low-latency Java microservices
  • Contribute throughout the entire software development lifecycle
  • Ensure clean code practices: TDD, performance, and security
  • Collaborate with distributed technical teams and participate in architecture reviews
  • Support automation of testing, deployment, and monitoring processes

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience as a backend developer
  • Strong proficiency in Java and Spring/Spring Boot
  • Experience with microservices, REST APIs, and relational databases (SQL, JPA/Hibernate)
  • Familiarity with version control tools (Git)
  • Ability to work independently and collaborate with remote teams
  • Nice to Have
  • Experience with Docker and cloud deployments (preferably AWS)
  • Knowledge of NoSQL databases
  • Familiarity with CI/CD tools (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, etc.)
  • Experience in financial industry projects
  • Understanding of event-driven architectures or messaging systems (Kafka, RabbitMQ)
