About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Analysis & Architecture: You analyze customer requirements, design technical solutions, and define a future-proof cloud architecture.
  • Establish standards: You develop blueprints, best practices, and architectural standards for our AWS cloud solutions.
  • Ensure security & performance: You ensure our architectures are secure, scalable, and high-performing.
  • Advise & support: You support our clients in the conception, implementation, and optimization of cloud-based applications.
  • Optimize & evolve: You improve existing applications and drive their technological development forward.
  • Drive innovation: You continuously evaluate new AWS services and technologies to further develop our cloud infrastructure.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • You bring at least 3–5 years of professional experience as a Cloud Architect with a focus on AWS and infrastructure projects.
  • You have solid knowledge in developing and implementing cloud solutions using AWS services such as ECS/EKS, EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, VPC, RDS/Aurora, Route 53, CloudFront, and IAM.
  • You are comfortable with Serverless computing and event-driven architectures.
  • You have experience implementing scalable, secure, and cost-efficient AWS architectures.
  • You possess deep knowledge in DevOps and CI/CD pipelines (GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, AWS CodePipeline).
  • You are proficient in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) with tools like AWS CDK, AWS CloudFormation, or Terraform.
  • You have a very good understanding of AWS Well-Architected designs and focus on creating real business value.
  • You are a strong communicator, speak fluent German, and can convey complex technical concepts clearly.
  • Ideally, you hold an AWS certification (Solutions Architect Professional or equivalent).
  • AI competency: You already use AI tools and technologies in your daily work—for example, to make processes more efficient, structure complex problems, or share knowledge quickly.
