About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Build relationships with parents throughout the Tracy area
- Attend community events, youth sports, libraries, school functions, and family activities
- Start friendly conversations with parents about their children's interests
- Introduce families to Code Ninjas and explain how children learn coding, robotics, AI, and problem-solving
- Book free trial appointments on the spot using the online scheduling system
- Develop partnerships with schools, PTAs, sports organizations, libraries, and local businesses
- Help grow Code Ninjas' presence in the local community
- Conduct at least 50 meaningful conversations with parents, 20 qualified family introductions, and 10 free trials booked or attended each week
- Generate new student enrollments
- Review the previous week's results, finalize the outreach plan, and commit to a weekly outreach schedule
Requirements
What you’ll need- Must be local to the Tracy, CA area
- Ideal backgrounds include teaching or tutoring, parenting, communications, education, business, marketing, youth sports coaching, PTA volunteering, event ambassadorship, hospitality, barista or customer service work, real estate, community organizing, fundraising, or nonprofit outreach
- Loves meeting new people
- Naturally outgoing and approachable
- Can confidently start conversations with strangers
- Self-motivated and dependable
- Enjoys helping children and families
- Comfortable working independently
- Reliable transportation required
- Available to work evenings and weekends when families are most active
- Experience is less important than personality, initiative, and ability to connect with people
- Must understand that this is an independent contractor position, not an employee position
