About the role
- Guide development of all software related to Proxie robot including autonomy stack, robot behaviors, and fleet management for current and future generations
- Oversee planning, execution, and delivery of software supporting continuous improvement and new features
- Create plans that meet scope, timeline, and resource budget requirements and manage them to closure
- Collaborate with software developers, hardware engineers, operations, and customer-facing teams to align objectives and deliverables
- Proactively identify risks and opportunities and develop mitigation/enactment strategies
- Blend technical expertise with business expertise to guide alignment of engineering work with customer/product needs
- Identify and troubleshoot deployment issues and work closely with engineering teams to resolve them
- Continuously seek opportunities to streamline and simplify processes
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree (asked in application form)
- Eligible to work in the United States
- Do not require visa sponsorship (applicant must answer sponsorship question)
- Willing and able to work fully onsite in Santa Clara, CA
- Senior/Staff level program management experience (implied by title)
- Technical background in autonomy stack (Localization, Perception, Navigation), robot behaviors, and fleet management
- Strong technical program management, planning, execution, and cross-functional coordination skills
- Risk and opportunity management; issue identification and resolution
- Customer-centric mindset and ability to align software work with customer/product needs
- Scrappy process improvement and ability to drive issues to closure
