Support the design process: From concept development to prototyping, bring interaction ideas to life for Human Proxie physical experiences.
Contribute to defining interaction frameworks for cobots in various environments, ensuring a seamless user experience across multiple touchpoints.
Work closely with designers, engineers and pilot team to help design and refine digital and physical interactions that shape the overall cobot experience.
Assist in creating low- and high-fidelity prototypes to test and iterate on human to Proxie physical interactions that improve user engagement and usability.
Role located at Santa Clara, CA headquarters.
Requirements
Pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in HCI, Human-Robot Interaction, Interaction Design, Cognitive Science, Robotics, Human Factors, or a related field.
A strong portfolio that reflects a wide range of interaction design explorations and practical implementation.
Healthy balance between research and practical execution.
Design fundamental skills: research, problem definition, prototyping, and integration.
Proficiency in design tools such as Figma, or Adobe Creative suite.
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative, and dynamic start-up environment.
Must obtain work authorization in the country of employment at the time of hire and maintain ongoing work authorization during employment.
Previous internship experience in consultancies or in-house design teams (preferred).
Senior-level student or recent graduate with a focus on HRI or interaction design (preferred).
