About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Executes activities related to the implementation, maintenance and improvement of the Compliance and Integrity Program, applying methodologies, procedures and instruments established by the department and supporting the execution of initiatives related to ethics, integrity and compliance to contribute to the Program’s effectiveness and strengthen the organization’s integrity culture.
- Manages the operational handling of reports received through the Transparency Channel, triaging, classifying, recording, forwarding, monitoring and following up on incoming reports while observing the confidentiality, impartiality and protection against retaliation criteria established by the organization, to ensure the proper functioning of the Transparency Channel, strengthen institutional trust in integrity mechanisms and contribute to the timely identification of potential misconduct.
- Conducts analyses and inquiries related to potential violations of the Code of Conduct and other institutional regulations, collecting and analyzing information and evidence, conducting interviews, preparing technical records and developing technical reports with the facts found and corresponding analyses to support proper investigation of reports received, strengthen confidence in integrity mechanisms and help mitigate institutional risks.
- Performs integrity assessments related to third parties, partners and other stakeholders, when applicable, applying the criteria established by the organization, analyzing available information, preparing technical opinions and recommending mitigating measures to support institutional decisions and reduce exposure to integrity risks arising from relationships with third parties.
- Monitors legal, regulatory and normative requirements applicable to compliance activities, as well as formally established exceptions by the organization, tracking regulatory changes, updating the regulatory matrix, recording and monitoring approved exceptions and communicating impacts to the areas involved to support institutional compliance, reduce regulatory risk and promote greater predictability and security in organizational decisions.
- Prepares technical reports, KPIs and management information related to compliance and integrity activities, consolidating and analyzing data, developing indicators and preparing materials to track the area’s activities to support the management of compliance activities and monitor the effectiveness of the Compliance Program.
- Develops and reviews policies, procedures, guidance materials and other instruments related to the Compliance and Integrity Program, analyzing organizational needs, incorporating applicable requirements and aligning instruments with market best practices to promote continuous updating of institutional instruments and strengthen the effectiveness of the Compliance Program.
- Plans and executes awareness and training actions related to ethics, integrity and compliance, preparing content, delivering trainings, conducting communication campaigns and providing technical guidance to business areas to disseminate knowledge, strengthen the integrity culture and encourage behaviors aligned with institutional values.
- Supports initiatives related to the promotion of integrity in the organization’s scientific, institutional and strategic relations, providing technical guidance, preparing support materials, participating in educational actions and disseminating guidelines related to ethics and integrity applicable to the institutional context to strengthen the integrity culture, support prevention of reputational risks and promote institutional relationships aligned with organizational principles and values.
- Provides technical advisory to business areas on topics related to ethics, integrity and compliance, clarifying doubts, issuing technical guidance and supporting the application of the Compliance Program’s regulations and instruments to promote correct interpretation of applicable requirements and contribute to the prevention of non-compliance situations.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Economics, Law or related fields;
- Intermediate English;
- Experience with compliance and integrity programs, management of the Transparency Channel, corporate investigations and digital forensic investigation tools and techniques;
- Experience with due diligence and integrity background checks;
- Experience with management of regulations and regulatory requirements and conflicts of interest management;
- Experience preparing technical reports and KPIs;
- Knowledge of ISO 37301 – Compliance Management System, ISO 37001 – Anti‑Bribery Management System, Brazil’s Anti‑Corruption Law (Law No. 12,846/2013) and Decree No. 11,129/2022;
- Knowledge of training and awareness techniques, Microsoft Office and data analysis tools (Power BI or similar).
- Preferred
- Certifications in Anti‑Corruption Compliance and/or Internal Investigations;
- Certification in ISO 37001 and/or ISO 37301.
