About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Develop and implement methods for signal and image reconstruction.
Formulate and solve inference and parameter-identification problems from experimental data.
Develop and apply regularization and optimization techniques.
Analyze the stability, sensitivity, and limitations of the methods developed.
Collaborate on inverse-problem applications in modeling, optimization, and design of complex systems.
Collaborate with teams working on computational simulation and machine learning.
Adopt best practices for development, version control, validation, and documentation of scientific software.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s degree in Physics, Engineering, Applied Mathematics, or related fields.
Strong foundation in applied mathematics, including calculus, linear algebra, and numerical methods.
Experience with scientific programming (Python, MATLAB, or similar).
Interest in inverse problems, computational inference, and mathematical modeling.
Advanced English.
Experience with inverse problems and parameter identification (preferred).
Familiarity with mathematical optimization (preferred).
Knowledge of signal processing and computational reconstruction (preferred).
Familiarity with regularization methods (e.g., Tikhonov, L1, TV) (preferred).
Experience with experimental data and physical modeling (preferred).
