About the role
- Own translation of ideas into reality and protect CNC from costly mistakes
- Technical oversight of all builds from scope to install
- Review renderings, tech drawings, and vendor quotes to flag red flags early
- Brief vendors: ensure they get the right specs, drawings, and expectations
- Manage sample/prototype requests, review, and approve finish samples and key elements
- Lead fabrication timelines and manage production schedules for all builds
- Be onsite for installs or manage trusted field leads to guarantee execution matches creative
- Collaborate tightly with Creative, Production, and Ops to ensure feasibility, quality, and margin protection
Requirements
- Detail-obsessed problem solver who thrives in the build process
- Comfortable interpreting creative and architectural drawings
- Experienced working with vendors across materials (wood, vinyl, metal, soft goods, etc.)
- Fluent in fabrication timelines, production methods, and install logistics
- Cool under pressure with a bias for action and follow-through
- LA-based preferred / able to be onsite for installs or manage field leads
