About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Support Senior Retail Lenders and divisional leadership
Provide guidance on mortgage products, pricing and complex loan structures
Provide direction and support to the Mortgage Business Analyst, LOS Administrator, and Senior Mortgage Underwriter
Analyze and identify process, system, or policy improvement opportunities
Act as final or designated credit authority for complex, high-risk, or policy exception requests
Participate in regular meetings with team members for alignment
Drive consistency through clear policies and procedures

Requirements

What you’ll need

A high school diploma or general education degree (GED) is required
5+ years of experience
Extensive knowledge of Investor guidelines and Regulatory requirements
Ability to read, comprehend, and interpret documents
Possesses professional communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to utilize telephone systems and possess good digital literacy
Prior experience and proficiency of LOS systems such as Empower
Demonstrates advance mathematical aptitude
Applies strong financial analysis and judgement to assess risk
