Mortgage Lending Manager, Officer
CNB BankMortgage Lending Officer supporting Senior Retail Lenders with mortgage products and pricing guidance. Providing direction to Mortgage Business Analyst and Senior Mortgage Underwriter while ensuring compliance in lending.
About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Supports Senior Retail Lenders and divisional leadership by providing guidance on mortgage products, pricing and complex loan structures
- Provides direction and support to Mortgage Business Analyst, LOS Administrator, and Senior Mortgage Underwriter
- Ensures alignment across lending, underwriting, and secondary market requirements
- Responsible for ongoing seller/servicer eligibility through coordination with investor and compliance partners
Requirements
What you’ll need- A high school diploma or general education degree (GED) is required
- 5+ years of experience
- Extensive knowledge of Investor guidelines and Regulatory requirements
- Ability to read, comprehend, and interpret documents
- Professional communication and interpersonal skills to write and speak effectively
- Ability to utilize telephone systems and possess good digital literacy including email, internet and intranet use
- Prior experience and proficiency of LOS systems such as Empower
- Demonstrates advance mathematical aptitude to accurately calculate and analyze loan-to-value, debt-to-income ratios
- Applies strong financial analysis and judgement to assess risk, identify compensating factors, and support sound credit decisions
