About the role
- Planning of complex new builds and extensions as well as conversion and modernization projects (preliminary, design and execution planning including cost estimation)
- Coordinating, managing, supervising and commissioning external design and engineering firms, taking quality, cost and schedule into account
- Managing internal and external stakeholders, implementing contractual agreements and ensuring deadlines are met
- Contributing to target definition and decision-making in the interests of the client
- Monitoring funding usage documentation for subsidized projects as well as liquidity planning and control of fund disbursements
- Negotiating with project participants and drafting and concluding planning, construction and service contracts
Requirements
- Degree in civil engineering or architecture, or a comparable technical construction qualification with relevant further training
- Several years of professional experience in project and/or construction management
- Expertise in planning (planning law, building permits) and coordination of project stakeholders
- Experience ensuring and complying with legal obligations, regulatory requirements and technical standards
- Good knowledge of tendering and awarding construction and design services (VOB, VgV)
- Ideally, discipline-specific CAD skills and experience with AVA software as well as basic BIM knowledge
- Proficient in common MS Office applications
- Entrepreneurial mindset, strong communication skills, a high level of reliability and excellent organizational and team skills
- Business-fluent German skills, both spoken and written
