About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Oversee core operational functions supporting organizational effectiveness, compliance, and long-term sustainability.

  • Oversee organizational risk management practices and identify operational risk areas.
  • Develop and train staff on compliance procedures.
  • Manage business insurance policies, renewals, and documentation.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Minimum of 10 years of professional experience.
  • At least 7 years of operations and compliance management experience in a nonprofit organization.
  • Experience overseeing operational systems, vendors, and cross-functional administrative processes.
  • Experience with risk management, insurance coordination, contracts, procurement, and/or other compliance-related responsibilities.
  • Experience overseeing technology systems and security.
  • Strong project management and organizational skills, with excellent attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities, deadlines, and stakeholders effectively.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and exercise sound judgment in a remote work environment.
