About the role

  • Close collaboration with development, operations, and architecture
  • Reliable software delivery from commit through to the production runtime environment
  • Support of stable, secure, and automated operations
  • Further development of the internal developer platform, cloud, and Kubernetes environments
  • Design and operation of CI/CD and GitOps workflows
  • Automation of deployments, tests, security scans, and releases
  • Automation of infrastructure and platform operations using Infrastructure as Code (e.g., Terraform/OpenTofu)
  • Improvement of processes and developer experience
  • Integration of central platform services

Requirements

  • Solid technical training or a university degree
  • Initial to several years of hands-on experience in cloud, DevOps, or platform engineering environments
  • Good knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes
  • Experience with CI/CD systems (e.g., Jenkins) and Git-based workflows, including GitOps
  • Experience with at least one cloud platform (e.g., GCP, AWS, or Azure)
  • Basic knowledge of networking, TLS, DNS, and operating Linux systems
  • Practical experience with scripting or programming languages such as Bash, Go, Java, JavaScript/TypeScript, or Python
  • Structured, eager-to-learn, and team-oriented working style
  • Fluent German communication skills
  • Desire for professional and technical development
