About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Independent project ownership: You will be responsible for independently executing and leading cloud projects.
Kubernetes clusters: Build and manage Kubernetes clusters for container orchestration.
CI/CD pipelines: Design and implement Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment pipelines.
Terraform templates: Create and maintain Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) templates using Terraform.
Cloud architectures: Design and implement secure, scalable private cloud architectures in Proxmox and Rancher, and where applicable in AWS/Azure.
Security and compliance management: Ensure that all cloud solutions meet the highest security and compliance standards.
Troubleshooting and optimization: Proactively troubleshoot and optimize existing cloud infrastructures.
Mentoring: Potentially mentor and guide a junior consultant in the future.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Several years of experience in cloud consulting with a focus on Proxmox and Kubernetes (ideally at enterprise level), plus strong Linux skills.
Deep knowledge of Kubernetes, CI/CD, Terraform, and other cloud technologies and tools.
Willingness and enthusiasm to act as a mentor for a motivated junior cloud consultant and share knowledge.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Fluent German (C2) and English (C1) language skills.
