About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Own and grow a contract desk within CBTR, operating as a business within a business — with a clear target of £30k+ MGP.
  • Win new contract business and convert existing Cloud Bridge consulting accounts into recurring contractor placements.
  • Build deep contractor pipelines across Cloud Engineering, DevOps, Platform Engineering, Architecture, FinOps, Data, AI and Security.
  • Leverage Cloud Bridge's unfair advantage — tap into an established AWS Premier Partner's customer relationships, strategic partnerships, and consulting team for warm introductions and market intel no standalone agency can match.
  • Maximise extensions and expand accounts — nurture client relationships to drive repeat revenue and compounding MGP growth.
  • Help shape CBTR's future — contribute to strategy, develop new markets (including Europe), and grow into a leadership role as the function scales.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Proven agency recruitment experience in technology, cloud, or infrastructure markets — either permanent or contract.
  • A consistent billing track record — you've been a top performer on your desk, regardless of whether that's perm or contract revenue.
  • Demonstrable BD ability — you know how to open doors, build relationships, and win business.
  • Hunger to scale — you're not content with steady-state. You want to build a £30k+ MGP desk and keep pushing beyond it.
  • An entrepreneurial mindset — you want to own something, not just occupy a seat.
