About the role
- Design and develop innovative precast concrete products.
- Create and review detailed structural drawings and 'Issued For Manufacture' documentation.
- Support lifting design development, ensuring safety compliance.
- Contribute to New Product Development (NPD) projects from concept to implementation.
- Conduct advanced structural calculations and analysis for complex precast elements.
- Collaborate with manufacturing teams to optimize design efficiency.
- Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance.
- Drive process improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of best practices.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a related field.
- 4-6 years of proven experience in structural engineering, with a strong focus on precast concrete.
- Proficiency in CAD software (SolidWorks preferred).
- Strong understanding of concrete structure design principles and industry standards.
- Experience with finite element analysis software and BIM concepts.
- Ability to manage smaller projects independently.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills, capable of articulating complex technical concepts.
- Self-motivated and experienced in remote work environments.
