About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Develop, maintain, and enhance financial models for budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports analyzing variances, trends, and key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Support budgeting and forecasting processes by gathering data, coordinating with business units, and ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Conduct ad hoc financial analyses to support strategic initiatives, capital allocation, and cost management projects.
- Monitor and report on the bank’s financial performance against targets, proactively identifying areas for improvement.
- Assist with regulatory reporting and ensure compliance with internal controls and policies.
- Collaborate with department heads to understand business drivers, risks, and opportunities, providing financial guidance as needed.
- Participate in the development and implementation of financial systems and process improvements.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
- 2+ years of experience in FP&A, financial analysis, or related roles. Strong plus if within banking or financial services sector.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, financial modeling, and data analysis. Experience with financial software and ERP systems is a strong plus.
- High level of integrity and commitment to confidentiality.
- Strong ability to explain complex financial concepts to non-financial stakeholders.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and quantitative skills.
