About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Take full ownership of backend scalability by designing, building, and maintaining services and systems that perform reliably at scale
Tune, iterate on, and optimize LLM integrations and AI agent orchestration pipelines
Improve reliability, efficiency, and output quality of AI systems
Collaborate closely with a fast-moving engineering team and ship frequently

Requirements

What you’ll need

Based in Stockholm, or legally eligible to work and willing to relocate to Stockholm
Must be eligible to work in Sweden
No visa sponsorship available
5+ years of backend software engineering experience delivering scalable production systems
Hands-on experience integrating LLMs and optimizing AI agent workflows in live production environments
Strong backend engineering fundamentals and experience building scalable systems
Practical experience shipping AI-driven features in production
Understanding of LLM reliability and performance tuning
Startup experience; comfortable with ambiguity, end-to-end ownership, and rapid execution
Strong portfolio of side projects demonstrating technical depth and sustained curiosity is a nice-to-have
Experience building AI-driven features in a consumer or marketplace product context is a nice-to-have
Background in fast-growing early-stage startups is a nice-to-have
