About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Leads financial analysis across revenue, cost, profitability, cash flow, and balance sheet performance
- Develops and maintains dashboards and recurring reporting packages
- Supports month-end close by reviewing and explaining P&L results with accounting
- Prepares and manages the annual operating budget and rolling forecasts
- Analyzes and explains variances between actuals, budget, and forecast
- Builds and maintains strong cross-functional relationships
- Serves as a primary analytical resource for the organization
- Advises senior leadership on the financial implications of decisions
- Prepares materials and commentary for board meetings
- Leads process and systems improvements
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field
- At least five (5) years of relevant experience in a finance role
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Advanced Excel skills for financial modeling and analysis
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Strong knowledge of the mechanics of a business P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow statement
- Demonstrated ability to analyze and interpret complex financial and operational issues
- Understanding of commercial and industry strategic drivers
- Experience organizing, planning, and executing projects across multiple internal and external reporting lines
- Strong systems skills with experience in system implementations or process redesign
