Day-to-day management of the company’s reconciliations teams
Preparation of financial statements for all Catalyst Accounting, Catalyst Fund Administration, and Clearwater CFO clients, including ad-hoc structures
Collaborate with fund administration team to manage transformation of data from fund accounting systems into the financial statement reporting process
Take full ownership of the financial statement deliverable process and ensure high-quality service delivery
Act as main point of contact for annual audit assistance, working closely with auditors and internal operations teams
Stay informed about industry trends, regulatory changes, and other factors that could impact the business
Share insights to facilitate development of new processes and procedures to create business efficiencies and enhance client service delivery
Assist in development and customization of technology to produce scalable financial statement products and research relevant technologies
Support Senior Associate Director and Manager – Accounting & Finance and perform ad-hoc duties as required
Build and maintain strong client relationships and work collaboratively with operations staff, business users, project managers, and implementation teams
Conduct research into accounting standards and reporting requirements (IFRS and US GAAP)
Supervise, coach, and mentor junior staff
Represent operational teams with product team for system maintenance, upgrades, and new product/solution implementation
Operate within governance framework; work with Internal Governance on change controls and internal quality assurance
Work with Head of Compliance and Governance on compliance culture, operational controls, regulatory assistance, and regulatory business updates
Requirements
Minimum experience: Mid-level
Experience managing reconciliations teams and ownership of deliverables
Experience preparing financial statements for fund administration clients (Catalyst Accounting, Catalyst Fund Administration, Clearwater CFO or similar)
Experience transforming data from fund accounting systems into financial statement reporting
Experience acting as main point of contact for audits and liaising with auditors
Knowledge of accounting standards and reporting requirements, such as IFRS and US GAAP
Supervisory experience: supervise, coach, and mentor junior staff
Experience with process improvement and technology development/customisation
Knowledge of governance, quality control, compliance, and operational controls
Client relationship management and ability to collaborate with operations, project managers, and implementation teams
Ability to support senior management and perform ad-hoc duties
