About the role

  • Facilitate communication between our mental health professionals and clients
  • Schedule appointments, maintain client records, respond to inquiries, and support administrative duties
  • Create a welcoming and inclusive environment for clients
  • Interact daily with both patients and mental health providers

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent (Bachelor's degree preferred)
  • Fluency in Spanish and English, with excellent verbal and written communication skills in both languages
  • Must work in a HIPPA compliant environment
  • Previous experience in a receptionist or administrative role in a healthcare setting, preferably in a mental health.
  • Familiarity with mental health terminology and practices is a plus
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to multitask
  • Proficiency in computer systems and software (e.g., MS Office, Athena electronic medical records, etc.)
  • Compassionate and empathetic nature, with the ability to remain calm in stressful situations
  • Understanding of the importance of confidentiality and privacy in the mental health industry
  • Cultural sensitivity and ability to work effectively with diverse populations
  • Willingness to pitch in to address issues as they arise in a fast changing startup environment.
