About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Taking the lead on larger client portfolios, you will be responsible for defining and executing comprehensive SEO strategies.
- You will develop and implement Generative Engine Optimisation (GEO) strategies, helping clients adapt to the evolving search landscape dominated by AI and conversational interfaces.
- You will be a point of contact for a portfolio of clients, working closely with the client services team to ensure seamless delivery and communication.
- You will develop a structured, proactive approach to identify new growth opportunities for our clients.
- You will assist the Head of SEO in our internal training schedule, delivering sessions on advanced SEO topics and mentoring junior team members.
- You will provide valuable, actionable insights and analysis to clients, interpreting performance to tell a story, identifying commercial impact, and continuously improve our reporting processes.
- As a senior team member, you will contribute to the agency's marketing objectives by producing high-quality blog posts, presentations, and other media.
- You will be a key point of contact for the London office, supporting the channel leads in deploying and embedding our SEO proposition across the wider business.
Requirements
What you’ll need- A minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in a strategic SEO role.
- Proven expertise in leading and managing large, complex SEO projects from concept to completion.
- Advanced proficiency with core SEO tools including Semrush, Screaming Frog, Google Analytics 4 (GA4) and Google Search Console.
- A strong ability to interpret complex data to identify trends, opportunities, and the commercial value of SEO.
- Foundational understanding of how web technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript impact search engine crawling and ranking.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a talent for translating technical concepts into a clear, business-focused narrative.
