About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Deliver virtual physical therapy services to students through a secure teletherapy platform.
Perform comprehensive evaluations to assess students' physical and functional needs.
Design and implement individualized therapy plans that align with each student's IEP goals.
Partner with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams to promote student success.
Participate in virtual IEP meetings and provide recommendations to support student outcomes.
Track student performance, adjust treatment strategies as needed, and document progress accurately.
Prepare and maintain timely therapy notes, progress reports, and required compliance documentation.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Demonstrate excellent communication, organizational, and technology skills.
Hold an active California Physical Therapist license or be eligible to obtain licensure.
Ability to provide remote services while meeting all California state and school district requirements.
Previous experience in school-based practice or teletherapy is preferred but not required.
Passionate about helping students enhance mobility, independence, and participation in the educational environment.
