About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Under supervision with wide latitude for independent judgement and decision, the Detox Program Manager leads the clinical, administrative and operational management of the Detox Center at our 24/7 rehabilitation and recovery agency.
  • Ensure the highest standard of participant care, compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements, effective management of staff, and ensuring timely and accurate documentation.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement participant-centered treatment plans and managing workflows to ensure compliance with regulations while fostering a culture of safety and client-focused care in a supportive and therapeutic environment for participants undergoing detoxification while driving continuous improvement in participant outcomes.
  • Holds supervisory responsibilities for staff and clinical providers including LVNs, Medical Assistants, and Counselors.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Must have a bachelor’s degree from a Board approved nursing program and a verifiable active license in California as a RN.
  • Must have at least 3 years of leadership experience in a detox center.
  • Must have achieved sobriety of at least one year.
  • Certification in addiction treatment such as NCAC, or CARN is a plus.
  • Must have current CPR and First Aid certification or obtain within 30 days from the American Red Cross or American Heart Association.
  • Must complete all pre-employment requirements including a Livescan and physical.
  • Must complete all Learning Management System “LMS” assignments by 30 days of employment.
  • Must carry and provide evidence of appropriate and current Professional Liability Insurance.
