About the role
- Crush sales goals by delivering customer experiences, upselling accessories, and promoting promotions to drive revenue.
- Conduct piercings with comprehensive training, educate customers on aftercare, maintain a sterile environment, and address questions and concerns.
- Maintain store displays, organized inventory, and easy-to-shop layouts.
- Support Store Manager by motivating the team, sharing sales tips, and fostering a positive, high-energy environment.
- Represent the Claire's brand and advise customers on trends and styling to boost sales.
- Oversee store operations including managing inventory, handling cash transactions, visual merchandising, and coordinating promotional activities.
- Encourage customers to share purchases and piercings on social media to create shareable moments.
Requirements
- You can conduct piercings and demonstrate patience and empathy, particularly with young or anxious customers.
- Proficient in operating a POS system to facilitate transactions and manage sales efficiently.
- Completed some high school.
- At least one year of retail management experience.
- Ability to stand during scheduled shifts and maneuver 11-35kg (25-75lbs).
- Ability to bend, stoop, extended reaching, and climb ladders or step stools.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong grasp of mathematics for inventory management, sales analysis, and cash handling.
- Driven team player with a positive attitude and willingness to learn.
- Self-motivated and organized; able to work alone when required.
- Passion for fashion and staying up to date with trends.
- Ability to create a curated fashion look with product during shifts.
