About the role

  • Crush sales goals by delivering next-level customer experiences, upselling accessories, and promoting promos to drive revenue.
  • Conduct piercings after comprehensive training; educate on aftercare, maintain sterile environment, address customer questions/concerns.
  • Maintain store displays, organized inventory, and easy-to-shop layouts.
  • Support Store Manager by motivating the team, sharing sales tips, and creating a positive, high-energy vibe.
  • Showcase Claire's products and services; stay plugged into fashion and social media trends to assist customers.
  • Oversee store operations: managing inventory, handling cash transactions, visual merchandising, coordinating promotional activities.
  • Encourage customers to share purchases and piercings on social media to drive brand engagement.

Requirements

  • You can conduct piercings and demonstrate patience and empathy, particularly with young or anxious customers.
  • Proficient in operating a POS system to facilitate transactions and manage sales efficiently.
  • Completed some high school.
  • At least one year of retail management experience.
  • Ability to stand during scheduled shifts and maneuver 11-35kg (25-75lbs).
  • Ability to bend, stoop, extended reaching, and climb ladders or step stools while placing merchandise throughout the store and assisting customers.
  • Passionate about providing customers with opportunities to express themselves freely every day.
  • Energized by interacting with customers and strive to provide excellent service throughout their visit.
  • Inspired by values of teamwork, compassion, integrity, customer delight, diversity, and self-expression.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong grasp of mathematics, essential for inventory management, sales analysis, and cash handling.
  • Driven team player with a positive attitude and willingness to learn.
  • Self-motivated and organized, as some stores may require working alone at times.
  • Passion for fashion and stay up to date with the latest trends.
  • Can create a curated fashion look with product during shift.
