About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Perform financial Quality of Earnings, due diligence, Excel financial analysis, and other consultative services for clients involved in business purchases, sales, or mergers and acquisitions
- Perform ad hoc analysis under tight deadlines
- Perform original financial statement modeling with a high degree of accuracy
- Write reports on findings for clients and their advisors
- Perform detailed financial due diligence
- Collect and analyze financial data to detect errors in financial reporting
- Summarize key accounting policies and identify issues that may impact transaction value or client risk
- Build detailed analyses and reports based on findings for client delivery
- Support multiple engagements on time and within budget
- Identify issues and communicate progress and results to supervisors
- Complete assigned portions of engagements consistently, accurately, and within tight time frames
- May begin directing small quality of earnings projects at the two-year level
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required
- Exposure to financial statement preparation, audits, and reviews preferred
- Working towards CFA, CPA or other post-graduate degree or relevant industry/service certification
- General knowledge of accounting principles and/or regulations impacting engagements or projects
- Knowledge of financial markets, analysis, and reporting of financial data
- Understanding of Pfx Engagement, Microsoft Teams, Microsoft Windows, and Microsoft Office
- Ability to perform accurate financial analysis and original financial statement modeling under tight deadlines
