About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Act as the Controller for designated clients
  • Advise clients as a consultant on best practices for accounting and finance-related engagements
  • Manage multiple clients, projects, workstreams, and deadlines
  • Prepare and analyze client financial statements and make recommendations
  • Foster and build opportunities and attend industry-leading events and trainings

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Seven years of relevant accounting and/or financial experience required
  • Bachelor’s degree required; combination of related experience, education, and training may be accepted in lieu of degree
  • Public accounting experience preferred
  • Experience in Nonprofit highly preferred
  • CPA certification preferred but not required
  • Prior project management and client management experience preferred but not required
  • Knowledge of client organizational policies and procedures, federal and state policies and directives, and current accounting standards
