About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Coordinate and prepare Medicare and Medicaid cost reports
- Coordinate and review Medicare and Medicaid cost reports
- Coordinate and prepare reimbursement-related consulting projects
- Train and develop staff
- Maintain working knowledge of Medicare program and State Medicaid program rules and regulations
- Research Medicare and Medicaid topics for clients and CliftonLarsonAllen personnel
- Develop services for clients and potential clients to positively impact revenue
- Participate in practice management, professional organizations, and associations to build relationships with clients, potential clients, and industry leaders
- Research Medicare and Medicaid reimbursement and develop a reimbursement library
- Work with Healthcare team members and clients
- Report to Healthcare Principals and Signing Directors
Requirements
What you’ll need- 6 or more years of relevant experience required
- Experience with Medicare and Medicaid reimbursement preferred
- Bachelor's degree required
- Degree in Accounting or related field preferred
- Combination of experience, education, and training may be accepted in lieu of degree
- Knowledge of Medicare program and state Medicaid program rules and regulations
- Knowledge of Medicare cost report software such as Health Financial Systems
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office products including Outlook, Word, and Excel required
