About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Manage research and development (R&D) tax credit studies, including client interviews, client data review, development of client- and industry-specific tools and templates, and preparation of technical reports
  • Assist R&D Project Managers with engagement delivery, including research and writing on technical and compliance issues
  • Manage and implement multiple projects simultaneously
  • Conduct client consultations, analysis, and data gathering
  • Coordinate Federal Tax Strategies R&D tax personnel and client resources
  • Network and build strong internal and external relationships with clients and the community

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
  • Minimum 6 years of experience serving in a tax role with a public accounting and/or professional services firm
  • CPA required
  • JD or Enrolled Agent (EA) may be accepted in lieu of CPA certification
  • Experience in R&D Tax Credits preferred
