About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Manage and develop relationships with new business development contacts and existing clients
  • Mentor team members
  • Deliver tax due diligence, structuring, modeling, and other special project engagements related to acquisitions and dispositions
  • Serve private equity investor groups, family offices, and strategic buyers
  • Work with SALT, International Tax, and Federal Tax Solutions specialty tax groups
  • Perform tax due diligence through review of tax returns, legal documents, and financial statements
  • Write and review tax due diligence reports
  • Lead engagement progress by monitoring time, budgets, and deadlines
  • Communicate important developments, facts, conclusions, and recommendations to the engagement principal

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required
  • Minimum 5 years of experience performing federal, state, and/or international tax compliance, planning, and consulting services
  • CPA license certification required
  • A JD degree or Enrolled Agent (EA) certification may be accepted in lieu of a CPA license
