About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Review fixed asset detail documents submitted by clients for property tax renditions
- Work with clients and the property tax team to resolve identified data issues
- Receive training on Avalara software
- Use Avalara to prepare and review property tax renditions
- Work with clients from Manufacturing, Distribution, Retail, Healthcare, and other industries
- Complete tax-related research and special projects
- Review and resolve property tax notices received from Assessors
- Identify discrepancies where filing an appeal may be required
- Develop and train team associates and interns
- Help clients resolve complex property tax issues and achieve results
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required
- 2+ years of relevant experience required
- Experience in business consulting or services preferred
- CPA eligible preferred
