About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Serve as a high-level interim or project-based accounting resource for clients in various industries
Support client accounting, finance, tax, and audit roles such as Interim Controller, Financial Reporting Manager, and Internal Audit Manager
Design and improve accounting processes, including monthly close, management and financial reporting, forecasting, consolidations, and system implementations
Take an active, hands-on approach in executing client engagements
Travel for client engagements as needed
Select and manage engagements on an interim and project basis

Requirements

What you’ll need

Ten years of relevant work experience, including public accounting
Prior industry experience as a CFO, Controller, SEC Reporting Manager, or Internal Audit Manager equivalent preferred
A bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, business, or related field required
Mastery in Microsoft Excel
Experience with a variety of accounting software
CPA certification preferred but not required
Prior project management experience preferred
Exceptional client service management experience preferred
Openness to travel for client engagements
