About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Work with client and sales tax team to resolve identified data issues
- Receive training on Avalara software
- Utilize Avalara to prepare and review sales tax returns
- Work with clients from multiple industries, including Manufacturing, Distribution, Retail & Healthcare
- Complete tax-related research and special projects as needed
- Review and resolve sales tax returns
- Identify Nexus issues and discrepancies where filing a return may be required
- Develop and train team associates and interns to help them build inspired careers
- Work with many great clients to help them resolve complex issues and get results
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required
- 2+ years' of relevant experience required
- Experience in business consulting or services preferred
- CPA eligible preferred
