About the role

  • Provide guidance and mentorship to team members, fostering professional growth and operational excellence.
  • Serve as escalation point for project challenges, ensuring timely resolution and stakeholder alignment.
  • Own the execution of firmwide transformation projects, ensuring alignment with strategic priorities.
  • Develop project plans, assign responsibilities, and monitor progress against milestones.
  • Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and aligned to firm objectives.
  • Build strong relationships with service line leaders, industry leaders, and subject matter experts (SMEs).
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to prioritize initiatives and allocate resources effectively.
  • Design and deliver communication strategies to encourage adoption of transformation initiatives.
  • Oversee development of training materials and ensure effective delivery.
  • Define and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) for transformation projects.
  • Partner with firm leadership to evaluate outcomes and recommend adjustments.

Requirements

  • 7 years of public accounting or professional services experience required.
  • Advanced technical knowledge of CLA processes is preferred.
  • Bachelor's degree is required.
  • Combination of relevant experience, education, and training may be accepted in lieu of degree.
  • Degrees in Accounting, Finance, Business Management or related field preferred.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook and Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.) preferred.
  • Strong project management skills required (attention to accuracy, timeliness, conflict resolution, and alignment to priorities and commitments) preferred.
  • Basic knowledge of one or more applications used by CLA’s practitioners preferred (CCH Axcess Tax suite, CCH Pfx Engagement, FloQast, QuickBooks, etc.) preferred.
