Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field.
Three (3) years of experience with complicated practices and precedents and an in-depth knowledge of governmental accounting practices.
Must have in-depth knowledge of governmental accounting practices to create detailed records and to complete the annual audit and monthly reconciliations of assigned funds.
Knowledge of grants, federal regulations, reporting, and compliance.
Knowledge and application of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
Any combination of related education, experience, certifications and licenses that will result in a candidate successfully performing the essential functions of the job,
Possession of a valid driver’s license.
Five (5) years of governmental accounting experience preferred.
Demonstrated experience working with Governmental Accounting Standards Board (GASB) guidelines preferred.
Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification preferred.
Report building experience with Power BI, Oracle BI, or another business intelligence program preferred.
