Support projects that enhance digital services and improve operational efficiencies through data-driven insights
Collaborate with multiple departments to collect, analyze, and interpret data to support various city projects and initiatives
Develop and implement data-driven solutions to address departmental needs
Utilize GIS tools for developing location-based services and data visualizations
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure data solutions meet user needs and organizational goals
Monitor and analyze data solution performance, making adjustments and improvements as necessary
Develop reports and validate data accuracy to provide insights and support evidence-based decision-making
Provide technical support and troubleshoot issues related to data tools and systems
Assist with assigned projects, contributing to data analysis and insights as needed
Requirements
Must be at least 18 years of age
Valid, unrestricted driver’s license
High school diploma or equivalent
Basic typing and computer skills required
Familiarity with Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.)
Programming skills in languages such as Python, JavaScript, or similar
Must be able to successfully pass pre-employment drug screening, Motor Vehicle Record check, and a background check
Level II: Currently enrolled in a four-year college/university program in Data Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a closely related field, AND completion of two years of coursework
Level III: Currently enrolled in a four-year college/university program as a Senior or post-graduate program in Data Science, Information Technology, Business, Public Administration, or a closely related field
OR, A combination of related education, experience, certifications, and licenses may be considered
