About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Design, build, and maintain advanced royalty tracking tools and financial reports
  • Design and operate production data pipelines ingesting royalty statements and usage data
  • Develop interactive dashboards and automated reporting in Power BI
  • Ensure accuracy, consistency, and auditability of royalty data across multiple sources
  • Build and maintain API integrations with third‑party platforms
  • Automate recurring data ingestion, validation, and reconciliation processes
  • Analyze large, complex datasets to identify trends, variances, and anomalies
  • Work cross‑functionally with accounting, IT, and client service teams
  • Recommend system enhancements and process improvements

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 6-9+ years of experience in analytics, BI, or data‑driven roles (royalty, finance, or media strongly preferred)
  • Advanced experience with Power BI, including DAX and data modeling
  • Hands‑on experience working with APIs, data connectors, and automated data feeds
  • Strong understanding of relational data structures and financial datasets
  • Experience with SQL and/or other query languages
  • High attention to detail, with strong problem‑solving and analytical skills
  • Knowledge of Python or other scripting languages for data automation
  • Ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear business insights
  • Experience with Azure, Snowflake, or other cloud data platforms
