About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

You will administer, operate and continuously develop complex server and system landscapes.
You will automate operational processes and infrastructure using PowerShell, Ansible and/or Bash and drive the standardization of our platforms.
You will ensure a stable, secure and highly available IT operation.
You will introduce, operate and continuously optimize modern communication and collaboration solutions — in particular Matrix-based messengers.
You will actively participate in exciting infrastructure projects and contribute your technical expertise to the further development of the IT landscape.
You will analyze and resolve complex system incidents in 2nd- and 3rd-level support and ensure smooth system operation.
You will document technical solutions and support the continuous optimization of IT processes and operational workflows.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Completed vocational training or degree in an IT-related field, or comparable qualifications with relevant professional experience
ITIL Foundation certification
LPIC-1 certification or a higher Linux certification
Several years of professional experience as a Senior System Administrator or in a comparable position
Very good skills in administration and automation with PowerShell, Ansible and/or Bash
Experience operating and administering Matrix-based messengers and modern communication solutions
Experience administering, operating and further developing complex server and system landscapes
Experience analyzing and resolving complex system incidents as well as 2nd- and 3rd-level support
Structured, self‑reliant working style and enthusiasm for optimizing IT processes and continuously developing modern infrastructures
Very good spoken and written German for communication with German-speaking customers.
