About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • You develop and integrate software components for Signal Intelligence (SIGINT) and electronic warfare (EW) platforms.
  • You collaborate with your agile team to devise technical solutions using models and proofs of concept (PoCs).
  • You further develop the software architecture and define interfaces together with the system architects.
  • You document your results and ensure software quality through automated tests.
  • You support project management with realistic effort and complexity estimates.
  • Together with the team, you select appropriate technologies, libraries, protocols and development methods.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • You have a degree in computer science, software engineering or a comparable technical field.
  • You have experience in object-oriented software development, ideally in larger projects or software platforms, and with model-based development approaches.
  • You have a solid understanding of software architecture, component design and interface definition and can confidently apply various frameworks and standard libraries.
  • You are familiar with modern software development processes and best practices, particularly collaboration in agile teams using Scrum or Kanban.
  • You are proficient with modern development tools such as IDEs, version control (e.g., Git), artifact repositories (e.g., Artifactory) and tools for static code analysis and quality assurance (e.g., SonarQube).
  • Very good written and spoken German is required for effective communication within the project environment and with our German-speaking customers.
