Key responsibilities & impact

Design, develop, and integrate software components for platform solutions in the field of signals intelligence (SIGINT) / electronic warfare (EW)
Use models and proofs of concept (PoCs) to discuss potential solutions with your creative team
Extend the component architecture and develop well-defined interfaces
Document results and secure them through automated tests
Support project management with realistic estimates of effort and complexity

Requirements

What you’ll need

University degree in computer science, software engineering, or a comparable technical discipline
Proven experience in object-oriented software development on large projects or software platforms
Solid understanding of software architecture, component design, and interface definition
Deep knowledge of Java, the Spring Boot framework, and commonly used libraries such as Spring Data, Spring Security, Lombok, and the Java Standard Library
Broad knowledge of software development processes and best practices, especially in agile teams using frameworks like Scrum or Kanban
Familiarity with modern development tools and environments, including integrated development environments (IDEs), version control systems (e.g., Git), artifact repositories (e.g., Artifactory), and tools for static code analysis and quality assurance (e.g., SonarQube)
Excellent spoken and written German required.
